Sinful Sunday: Spots and Stripes II

‘There are only patterns, patterns on top of patterns, patterns that affect other patterns. Patterns hidden by patterns. Patterns within patterns.’
Chuck Palahniuk, Survivor

One of the best parts of winter is the light – when the day is clear, the light is so fresh and crisp that it takes my breath away!

Yesterday was a day just like that. Bright and clear and beautiful, and irresistible.

So when a group of us congregated at Exposing 40‘s flat to take photos in preparation for FebPhotoFest, I couldn’t resist making the most of that light for myself!

But it turns out that the name I’d chosen for this week’s photo is not only one I’ve used before, it’s one I’ve used less than 6 months ago!

It seems that I enjoy mixing patterns…

A combination of spots and stripes - me, wearing just a spotty skirt in front of the stripes of a Venetian blind

  1. This is so lovely Livvy! The way the light shines behind you, it’s almost like it’s coming from you and not the window. Really beautiful! (I am also notorious for duplicating titles.)
