‘It is our choices, Harry, that show what we truly are.’
– J.K. Rowling, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
Is anyone sitting there?
Can I buy you a drink?
Do you mind if I call you sometime?
Have you chosen which movie you want to see?
What did you fancy for dinner?
Chocolate or vanilla?
Do you want to dance with me?
What shall we do today?
Who’s your favourite James Bond?
You want another drink?
Can I kiss you? Can I touch you? Are you sure you’re ready?
Can I see you again?
Do you even know what you want?
Are you leaving me? Am I too late?
Are you going to invite me in?
What colour should I dye my hair?
Can I have another chance?
Would you like another piece of cake?
Aren’t you working tomorrow? Can you really come over?
Can I stay?
Can I hold you? Can I taste you? Can I dig my fingers into your back and feel you squirm in my arms?
Would you like fries with that?
Do you want children?
I want you to tell me all of your fantasies, all your deepest desires. Do you trust me enough for that?
Where do you want me to come?
Are you sure this is what you want?
Do you promise to love them, honour them, and cherish them for as long as you both shall live?
Have you thought about where your career is going?
What paint colour goes with these curtains?
Have you thought about names yet?
Can we really do this here? I’m sure we’ll be caught but…
Would you be willing to move for this job?
Can I make you come again?
Do you think we can do this forever?

Isn’t every day about choices… even starting with the choice whether you want to get up or not? I don’t think we realize just how many times a day we actually make a choice.
Reminds me of my lunch date yesterday
Lol!!! . . . loved reading down your list! Wondering what was on the next line . . . and, being tempted to answer some of them as I went!

Brilliantly done, life is indeed a constant round of choices.
