Sinful Sunday: You shall go to the ball…

‘Going so soon? I wouldn’t hear of it. Why my little party’s just beginning.’
– L. Frank Baum, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz

It is my work’s summer ball.

I love work parties. I really enjoy seeing people in a different environment, wearing their own clothes and looking wonderfully glamorous. I love seeing how colleagues change when they’re relaxed and how working relationships are improved after shared frivolity!

Sadly, this year I’m working a long shift first, so will have to get dressed in the staff bathroom…

…struggling a little with the zip in the cramped cubicle…

…before finally heading out, transformed from functional to fabulous in one outfit change!

Just need to keep my fingers crossed that there will be no dress mishaps to make my late arrival memorable for perhaps the wrong reasons…

Press the lips to see the rest of this week’s photos…

  1. Oh…#2 is simply intoxicating. The black and white…the dress…it looks so classic and perfect! Beautiful, my dear…simply stunning! I love, also, the little glimpse of what I am assuming is your thong in #1? Sexy.

  2. I feel the need to reach out and help you zip up and biker hubby says your lovely neck needs to be kissed… great shots!

  3. Ahhh I always loathed work functions, although we never had anything as wonderful sounding as a summer ball, maybe if we did that might have changed my opinion. Oh and your dress is stunning

  4. I went to a very formal ball and lost weight right before (stress), so had that dress mishap. I love the getting ready solo, it’s a tease but in the reverse order, where you dress and transform. Well done

  5. These shots are so sexy and enticing, but also make me think of the last time I tried changing into a sexy outfit in a cramped bathroom. I did not manage it nearly as well as you!
